There is a book you can get from the library that is called Easy-Bake oven Gourmet. It has everything from lobster and quail down to really fun easy cheap deserts. Our favorite was Good Morning Dessert. It tastes like Peach Cobbler.

Wow! This brings back fun memories of when some of my friends' kiddos were young!

We used to make the entire mix in a bowl following the standard directions, then filled the little pans the oven came with and followed directions for baking like we used their mixes.

I want to say a regular box mix made 5-6 little cakes...its been a long time ago. It was time consuming, but fun....we would ice them while the next ones were baking (after cooling time of course).

Yes you can do this. I find out that it was easier to just make the entire box and allow my daughter to bake what she wanted in her oven. I would use the rest of the mix and bake it in my oven. There were times that she had a lot of friend over and each one wanted their own cake so this took the box to make them all. I would just make up the box it seems to work better than trying to scale it down.

Give Jiffy brand mixes a try. There all kinds. Just go to www.jiffy.com. there is also a recpe book they will send you for free. She can use one mix and use the pans that come with her easy bake oven. I am not sure how many she can get out of one mix, but she could probably make layer cakes and use a frosting mix. She can bake corn breads. The blueberry mufin mix would make nice snack cakes.
