Antonio Banderas is the stage name of José Antonio Domínguez Bandera, Spanish actor, singer and producer. He is one of the most recognized Spanish actors in Hollywood.
He debuted as an actor in numerous films directed by Pedro Almodóvar. After that, he had cameos in several films, including Assassins, Spy Kids, Philadelphia, The Mask of Zorro, and Interview with the Vampire.
Banderas received his first acting role in Pedro Almodóvar’s 1982 film Labyrinth of Passion.
He appeared in the director’s film Law of Desire five years later. She would later collaborate with Pedro in his films “Matador” (1986), “Mujeres al verge de un breakdown de nervous” (1988) and “Átame! Tie me!” (1988). In 1991, Banderas made her Hollywood debut.
